Emilia Clarke is an English actress. She was born on October 23, 1986, in London, England. She is best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO television series “Game of Thrones” (2011-2019).
Clarke began her acting career in 2009 with a guest appearance on the British soap opera “Doctors.” She then landed a role in the stage production of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” in 2013. Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Daenerys Targaryen in “Game of Thrones,” which earned her critical acclaim and numerous awards.
Clarke has also appeared in several films, including “Terminator Genisys” (2015), “Me Before You” (2016), “Solo: A Star Wars Story” (2018), and “Last Christmas” (2019).
