Controversies• After listing Joe Rogan’s podcast on Spotify, the audio streaming giant had to remove around 42 episodes from the library of the show as they had some controversial content that violated the company content guidelines.

• In September 2020, Joe Rogan was called out by the LGBTQ+ community for making transphobic comments in one of his podcast episodes. However, the team at Spotify reviewed the episode and they ruled out that the episode meets the content guidelines.

• In the 2020 US Elections, the representative of the Democratic party, Bernie Sanders, received backlash from the LGBTQ+ community for accepting the endorsement from Joe Rogan. Earlier, the comedian was accused by the LGBTQ+ community as a transphobic person based on some comments he had made on his show. 

• In April 2021, Joe Rogan invited a fellow comedian, Ali Macofsky on his podcast. Ali mentioned that the American YouTuber Trisha Paytas has an OnlyFans account. In response to this, Joe asked his staff to find a picture of Trisha in a bikini, and after seeing the picture, he said “you can keep that.” Trisha saw the clip of Joe Rogan saying that and she responded to his comments through a video.
